Dispute resolution is about compromise, rather than winning per se. We are strong believers in negotiation and resolving disputes in an amicable, cost-effective manner. We actively encourage clients to negotiate, mediate and, if need be, refer disputes to arbitration as effective alternatives to litigation. Unlike many in the legal industry, we will not encourage any client to resort to litigation save as a last resort and then only if we are of the view that such proceedings are commercially justifiable, given the high costs of litigation.

 

When things do go wrong and there is no alternative, we represent clients, whether as plaintiffs or defendants, in High Court and Magistrates Court proceedings.  We also represent clients in disciplinary proceedings of various organisations.
